Our family joined Samena just before they closed the indoor pool for nine months, and there was no disclosure of this when we signed up. Nor was there any discount for the inconvenience. I use the term in quotation marks because I always send my check in the first week of the month, but somehow they never get it until after the 16th, and therefore put their hand in my pocket for another $10. The postal service is uniquely slow in delivering the mail to Samena, although they have no problems with my other bills. Their ready answer to the mysteriously slow postal service? Automatic deductions. That?s right, just give them access to your checking account. I finally got sick of it and quit, for which they?re charging me another $89. The staff is rude and generally incompetent: they don?t care, and they don?t have to, and they act like it.
