I called True Service to get a second opinion on a furnace issue, and they were the only vendor who had the proper equipment to accurately assess my heating problem. Not only did they confirm I didn't have a problem at all, they explained why, and then didn't even charge me a dime for their time or expertise, which pretty much guarantees I will call them next time I have a problem. Pretty smart business approach.
I just want to warn anyone who's been told they have a cracked heat exchanger and was instructed to turn off their heat completely until the entire furnace can be replaced. Don't just get a second opinion, get a third and a fourth. Make sure they use a gauge to measure carbon monoxide levels before turning off your heat. I found that each vendor diagnosed a different problem (and some found no problem at all). The range was $0 to $4800 to repair, which is quite a span. I also discovered that my ancient furnace was still under warranty, even after many years.
Pros: Accurate, Knowledgeable, Fair, Not Looking to Just Make a Quick Buck
