I had my baby at this hospital about a year ago the nurse staff were nice with the exception of three of them. I don't see how we can function as a society when our hospitals are understaffed. When I arrived to deliver my baby I was in pain from strong contractions it had taken them two hours to give me an epidural. One doctor came in and at least had the decency to tell me he had another patient, and that he was sorry. Then a lady came in, and was very unpleasant to deal with she was rude. Then I tried to breastfeed my baby because it is cheaper, and healthy but it was not working for me so I told the nurse that I wanted to stop this but she kept pushing the baby against my breast. Then I got angry after that then she let go. I swear if something is wrong with my child I will *** this hospital. The doctor I had did not even deliver my baby. Then the nurse gave me a pill that did nothing for the pain only made my head spin which really made me angry. They were lucky I was in the condition I was in or they would not hear the last of me. I later asked for tylenol after having my baby from the stomach cramps but did not recieve any. The nurses had taken forever to get to my room. At least I lived close to home when I left to get some tylenol. Then we got a bill in the mail for charges that were not sent to our private insurance. My suggestion is if you have private insurance, and can choose were you want to go don't go here.
Pros: Close to home
Cons: Understaffed, Rude Nurses, Care is not number one priority
