I do not recommend Burgess Hauling in Covington, GA 11/17/2008

I paid for the first 3 months of service and after 3 weeks I still have not received my 96 gallon garbage can. I called to ask about this and was told I already had a garbage can. The problem is that the can was here when we bought the house, was used for bow and arrow target practice by the previous owner of the house, and is smaller than the 96 gallon size I paid for. I actually took that thing to the dump a few days ago. I explained that the garbage can was from a different company that is now out of business but the response I got over the phone was that I would have to use that can. \r My feelings are that I paid for service from Burgess Hauling and for a 96 gallon trash can from Burgess Hauling. Instead they insisted that I use a very unattractive looking old can from Laidlaw which is no longer in business that happened to be in my yard (we recently purchased our home which was a foreclosure and there is much I need to clean up around here). If I pay for a 96 gallon trash can from Burgess, I find it terrible customer service that they would insist I use a smaller can that does not belong to them. What is in my yard prior to signing up for Burgess Hauling is of no consequence to them. The man on the phone was very rude. Nobody wants a ratty looking garbage can sitting in the driveway. I should have gotten a Burgess can. O am cancelling service and I do not recommend. Cons: do not expect friendly service or to get what you pay for more
