My fiance and I used to live in Evanston, and when we were looking for her engagement ring we went to all the big chain stores, and also a lot of the little shops, both in Chicago and the northern suburbs. When we walked into some of the big chain stores and told them my fiance was looking for a sapphire rather than a diamond, we pretty much got brushed off. When we walked in to Christopher Duquet's store in Evanston though, it was a different story.\r

As soon as we walked in we were greeted with smiles from three different directions. We st down with Christopher on our first visit and he and my fiance talked through what she wanted and he brought it to life on paper and she knew he had the same vision for the engagement ring. A few weeks later, after making some minor tweaks to the design (which were taken positively by the staff) I picked up the final product, and it was absolutely stunning.\r

We returned to Christopher Duquet Fine Jewelry for our wedding rings where creating completely custom rings for both of us was not a problem. We even had to ask for a short time window of about two weeks, and they were able to complete two entirely new rings in that short time window! We are again extremely pleased with the final products. We were so happy with the quality and customer service on the engagement ring that we didn't consider going anywhere else, and have since recommended some of our friends to Christopher Duquet.\r

Some people and reviews have mentioned Christopher Duquet's shop to be a bit pricey, but when you consider the brilliant level of customer service, care and detail that they provide along with a product that speaks for itself, there's no doubt in my mind it's worth it!\r
