Bonner's marks the historical extent of Grey's Ferry- long ago as far north as Sansom and 23rd was solidly Irish working class. Bonner's is mostly all that's left (except Callahans on South and a few places pretty deep in the Ferry) of that time. But it's a fitting testament. Cheap beer, friendly people and an eclectic crowd- everyone from happy houring Center City lawyers to punk bike messengers occasionally show up inside it's dingy, worn interior. Also, a nice big selection of take out beers without a bad mark up.\r

Great place, it's a shame Ally their old bartender left.
Pros: very much a real bar, price, location
Cons: ...very much a real bar
