I have attended TFWC since I was 9 years old and I'm 40 right now!! What better person to comment on this church than one who has been there through thick and thin and seen it all. What I've seen is a pastor and membership dedicated to people finding the love of Jesus. We believe in the gifts of the Spirit and those are in operation, but what is more evident are the 1st two commandments from God; love HIM with all your heart, mind, soul and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself!! I am in a church every week that loves everybody right where they are. It's our job to love people, it's His job to change them. We are not judgemental, snotty, overly spiritual, or spooky. We love to be real, transparent, merciful, gracious - the same things God offers to us! If you need a place to land - if you've been out there for who knows how long trying to find some place safe to fall - you have found the church. We aren't churchy, we're Christians. I don't boast in that because God knows I mess up, but every time I need him, he is there for me and everytime I run back to Him, he is open-armed waiting to embrace me!!
