Very Very Good!!! 11/12/2008

Great Thai Food. The restaurant consistently has great food for lunch and dinner. There are tasty alternatives to the standard Pad-Thai dish. I recommend trying the Pad Mee. This had thinner noodles than Pad Thai. Patrons can bring wine to the restaurant and have it served in glasses without a corking fee. The Won-Ton soup is very good, as well as the Thai spring rolls (the non-breaded ones). One issue is that the food is not very spicy. If you like spice, then you will have to bump up your spice level by a factor of 2. I usually get a spice level 10 at most Thai restaurants and I get a 20 here. The staff has never given me a problem with my special order. The to-go orders are promptly prepared. The high quality food is slightly expensive $10-$12 for dinner, but not as expensive as eastside Thai restaurants. Thai-Namtip?s Thai dishes are better than Bangkok Bistro (Erie Ave), Teak, and Thai Taste.\r Highly recommended!\r Pros: Wonderful food, BYOB, and plenty of choices Cons: Spice levels do not compare with other Thai places. A 10 is about a 5 at most places (but staff has no problem with special orders once you figure your level out and it is over 10) more
