My sister and I went to buy new thread and needles, to use on a heavy fabric to make curtains. The service was horrible, the woman who originally ""helped"" us was rude and curt. We weren't sure what we needed and her blaming it on the thread we had saying it ""must be old"" ( it was used to make a Halloween costume three weeks ago) didn't help. Obviously we were beneath her level of expertise and she made that abundantly clear. When we went to check out we asked if we had the right things, the cashier said no. So we went to find other thread and needles. Since all five of the needles broke, despite the tension being correct and the machine being recently serviced, somehow I don't think they were indeed ""right."" I would not recommend it unless you don't need any help and enjoy being treated poorly. The best part is on the drive we were discussing taking classes there, after today I wouldn't go back if they were last sewing place in Portland, which luckily they aren't.
Cons: Horrilbe service
