I will not take my pets anywhere else. 11/12/2008

First of all, they ARE clean. This is the only clinic I've been to that doesn't reek of urine and other animal odors. They may be small and the shopping center they are located in is a tad old, but not clean? I don't think so. Take that from a germaphobic nurse who has been there more than twice. Coming from the medical field, I can understand that it is frustrating when your physician is not available and their replacements are not up to par, but even physicians need vacations. Also, if your pet is truly sick, you should resort to an ANIMAL HOSPITAL. Clinics have business hours and like most medical practices, are limited in treatment options. Also, don't blame your vet for not being a miracle worker. I have had pets that have cost me several visits to the vet/hospital and thousands of dollars before they were well again. Just like humans, except they can't tell you what's wrong with them. Furthermore, it is not always necessary to weigh an animal to tell that they are over/underweight or just fine. Again, just like humans. It is best to look at situations from all angles and to have an open mind. I also recommend not waiting until your pet is seriously ill to seek medical care. Routine visits and immunizations (which a great deal of cat owners don't bother with) are not expensive and imperative to the wellbeing of any domesticated creature. Dr. Romano saved my dog's life and did so at close to nothing in cost because he knew I was just out of school and broke. I, like the father and cousin of the previous reviewer, refer all my friends and family there. I love Pets & Hearts. Thank you for everything! Pros: Just about everything. Cons: No night hours. more
