Russian Ural Motorcycles are a unique piece of machinery, and yes a little rustic, are a blast to ride and have been gaining in popularity every year. You have to like to tinker with and maintain your own bike to own a Ural, it's 1935 tech BMW copy than has been gradually upgraded over the years, becoming more reliable every year, so it helps to know how everything works and how to keep it tuned up. In the last 1000Km we realy haven't done more than full service and top up the oil as needed. The Ural cost is about half that of conventional sidecar bikes, and with two wheel sidecar drive, on-road, off-road driveability of a mountain goat it's a riot in the dirt and one of the coolest rides in town. Young or Old, Harley rider or Metric Cruiser, everyone says the Ural is cool ride.
