My son has been taking Taekwondo with Instructor Jerry Groce (5th Degree) for 5 years, we followed him when he decided to start his own branch of the ITA. He is excellent with little kids, teenagers and adults. He can teach an entire room of young children Martial Arts in a fun environment, I have yet to see a child leave without having a good time. The classroom is open and parents have chairs and an area to watch (no closed doors). I have seen several families attend together and progress up the ranks to Black belt, in fact I would say that half of his students have a parent or a sibling enrolled as well. I think the monthly price is very good and a great value for what you actually get. For just starting his own branch his membership following is excellent, most of his adult students stay with it and attain the rank of First Degree Black belt or better, which means they are motivated to finish and enjoy the process. No guilt, no yelling, no drama just solid instruction, respectful interaction and progressive accomplishment in Martial Arts and life lessons.
