At best, this place is mediocre. I had the kobe beef burger. It came with caramelized onions, which I don't care for (I think they overshadow most things). I asked for raw onions instead and the waiter seemed annoyed, as if these caramelized onions were something a) special and b) were really going to make this meal. It also came with fancy mayo and I prefer mustard. Since I'd never had kobe beef, I wanted to taste it rather than the condiments. Again, the waiter seemed annoyed. Except I eat out often and I'm used to waiters being annoyed. I don't care. When you're paying nearly $20 for a burger, I damn well want it how I want it. There was nothing special about my burger except that it was nearly raw despite asking for it to be cooked medium rare. The environment was nice enough, typical LA-cafe, but nothing special. Overall, I'd never make a point of going back.
