Il Piccolo is the epitome of a great neighborhood cafe. The exposed-brick walls, delightful art, simple wooden cafe tables, etc. all create a friendly atmosphere that's conducive to good conversation.
Prices are reasonable; coffee blends are delicious and the wi-fi is always free and usually works. The ""regulars"" are a great cross-section of Burlingame and new faces are welcome.
