I've worked for Charles Hines and Son for 4 years, mostly while I was also attending college so I could only devote evenings and some weekends to my clients. I was glad that they provided reasonable hours of paid training and accessibility to my case manager. My case manager changed once while I was there because my first manager was promoted. Both were professional and called me back in a timely manner if I ever needed to get ahold of them. The pay was great for part time work and the flexibility of hours was exactly what my life style demanded during college. My case manager was great because she really listened to my clients' parents. So it often felt as if I was communicating directly with the parents. I had a positive relationship with the clients' parents, which also made the experience enjoyable.
Pros: flexibility of hours, meaningful experience, helping others, high need
