Lexington Rescue Mission offers free meals to the public at 12 noon on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 444 Glen Arvin Avenue. The food is great, and the people who serve are always friendly. There is a SHORT chapel service before the meal at 11:30 for anyone interested. The Mission also has FREE employment services, budgeting classes, a housing program to help people find safe decent affordable places to live, a thrift store at 720 Bryan Avenue, and an outreach social worker who can help you find community resources.
