I went to the Kress for a our monthly Guys night out. We went to Kress with the objective of having a nice dinner and clubbing afterwards.
Food - I must say the food ranged from bland to slightly above average. I would not recommend this restaurant the food is overpriced and taste is not that great. The plates are way to small as well. It feels like dinner is really the price of admission to the club.
Atmosphere - Very Nice decor nice ambiance but it was empty on a Saturday night at 8pm. It started filling in around 9 and finally got crowded around 10.
Club - This was our primary reason for coming here. I was worried before coming here because I've heard rumors of racism and no guys being let in. However my group of 4 black guys, 1 mexican guy and 1 columbian guy were able to get in without much issue since we had had a meal there. All we had to do was have our server tell the bouncer we ate there and we were let in like that. I must say the club is really nice, and felt like a mini toned down Vegas club. The guy girl ratio was perfect for guys being about 70/30 girls to guys.
Celeb Spotting - Didn't see anyone to special, just saw Maurice Green in the club and that was it.
I would say if your gonna come here come for the club not the restaurant. And also to note don't park valet its $20 park across the street for $10 instead.
