As the owners of Mockingbird Swim & Total Fitness (MSTF), Paul and I care about our community. We love all children and know that swim lessons save lives. We have over 50 combined years of teaching and coaching experience. Our instructors are taught to approach their students in a nurturing fun and loving manner, so that children learn to love yet respect the water.
Other activities include Fitness classes, Camps, Parent's Night Outs (Every Saturday Evening), Private classes, SKILLS classes for ages 6 & up, PARTIES and for adults - Water Aerobics (Hydrobics), learn to swim and open times. We offer the use of our cardio equipment and free weights to parents to use while their child is in class, at no extra charge.
Our instructors are outstanding --- Mr. Chris, Mr. Connor and Ms. Hallie are our Lead instructors. Ms. Debbie and Mr. Paul also teach at times and teach private lessons.
What are our classes like?
* We have a 3:1 student teacher ratio
* Our classes our a full 40 minutes in length
* We teach infants through Adults
* We are an ARC provider
* We teach in a Fun, Nurturing, and Loving manner
* We have open enrollment
* We have pre-swim endurance training all year
* We refer our students to area swim teams
* Our children's fitness classes are 40 minutes
* We teach sports techniques, strengthening, and flexibility in our Adventure Center
* Older children also use our hydrolic resistance machines for strengthening
* Enhancement includes Strength, Kids-Cardio, Image building, Light-footedness, Limberness and
and Sports Techniques ( S.K.I.L.L.S.)
* Our Adult water aerobics classes are 1 hour on Mon/Wed/Fri at 12:30PM.
* Open swim allows adults to use the pool for their own exercise routines
* Adults have complete access to a treadmill, recumbant bike and an eliptical machine
