I have been looking forward to going to the Fresh Fish company and after our meal I wish we had never gone! From the moment when we walked in the door and greeted by a very snobby hostess I knew it wasn't going to be what I expected. The dining area looked like an old casino buffet restaurant with tacky wall art and lights. Our server bosted about the fish special and pasta in which my boyfriend and I took his advice and ordered. Along with our meal I wanted to try "Denver's best" calamari for an appetizer. DEFINITELY not Denver's best!!! Sure it looked pretty but it lacked in any flavor in which they try to make up with their dipping sauce. The clam chowder was nothing special, very bland as well. Our main entree was even worse. I had a pasta with king crab and shrimp with a spicy tomato sauce. The shrimp were VERY small and I have never had crab that tasted so fishy. It was shredded in the pasta and almost tasted like tuna instead of crab. VERY dissapointing. My boyfriend's fish platter with 3 different types of fish was the same, very bland and had to be doused with lemon to remotely enjoy it. For a $70 meal it definitely wasn't worth it!!!
Pros: Bussers were good about clearing plates.
Cons: Bad food, snobby waitstaff, very fishy smelling restaurant
