work in the financial district and decided to give this place a try after walking by one day. You may be hesitant at first-from the outside, it seems cold, unwelcoming, and to be honest, somewhat frightening. However, when you get up to the second floor, the dim candlelight, burning incense, relaxing music, and friendly receptionist will allay all your fears. It's nothing too fancy or frilly. The focus is the massage-the best I've found in New York. Everyone is good (this place seems to mandate that-unlike other places). Jimmy is my favorite, though. If you request it, he can step on you. He does it in a very thoughtful, methodical, and effective way. It always helps to loosen up the very tight muscles in my back. I'm so glad I found this place. It's just what I need after a long, stressful day at work and sitting in front of the computer all day.
