I wish I could give Terry's carpet a better review. The carpet was great, they use a great pad and the instillation in the bedrooms was great. Unfortunately all of the good work that they did cannot overcome all of the headache and sick to my stomach that I just spent that much money and I got a poor install on the stairs. I will say right off the bat that I am certainly not one of their "big ticket" customers, but that shouldn't matter. First they did the "waterfall" method of installing the stairs. This looked like a very poor do it yourself job, not a professional job. This method you take one big long piece of carpet and basically staple it in the crease of the stairs and no where else. The carpet pad is only on the top part of the stairs. The installer did this because he said that my stairs don't have a big enough lip.
