this was our first time at firehouse subs.\r
the place was very clean. we got there just after lunch rush on a thursday.\r
loved the firehouse momento and decor.(I collect black and whites/firehouse pictures).\r
the sandwiches were awesome. i am a 'fully involved' girl, my husband is more specific on his fixings.\r
there was a variety on the menu of ""healthy to ""decadent and don't care just want an awesome sub.""\r
if you have lived back east (I am a Jersey girl native). this is your sub shop! I tried the ""firehouse hero"" my husband ordered the ""engine company"".. we even purchased a bottle of captain sorrensons pepper hot sauce to take home and try on our family buffalo wing recipe.(makes great wing sauce by the way).\r
crew was young but they were attentive friendly and fast. \r
we even picked up a donation pamphlet for the charity foundation on the way out. thought that was a unique and sweet way for the community and company to 'give back"".what can I say I am 'fully involved' 'kind of girl.?\r
ice tea was good (you could tell the tank was clean) only suggestion for improvement was there should be more 'deli style' chips on the menu.\r
good job guys ..watchout competition ,make a note to ""'stand back 200 feet!""\r
we will be back with the family.\r
\r
Pros: fast service great food
Cons: more deli style chips needed
