I have to preface this post by saying two things:\r
\r
1) I have bad back problems\r
2) I am uncomfortable with massages \r
\r
Kind of a bad situation, wouldn't you say? I'm the kind that would be more apt for a double whiskey and 3 Advil instead of a massage, especially one with needles involved. \r
So when some people recommended I go to Source Healing after I threw my back out (again), I wasn't sure what to expect. \r
I figured I'd be in for another quick fix type of treatment, but I was really wrong. \r
During my consultation, it was recommended that I get acupuncture, which made me kind of nervous. A massage and needles? What did I get myself into....\r
\r
However, after a treatment by Christie, I must confess, I'm a changed man.\r
Christie was really helpful in working with my anxiety toward the whole experience, and after about a 30 min treatment there was a drastic improvement; I was able to sit up for the first time in a week without people looking at me asking ""Are you alright?"" It was great.\r
If you suffer from any type of general pain (especially lower back) that can't be treated by anything other than pain killers, I highly recommend Source Healing.\r
The best part is I've been pain free since my appointment. I still like whiskey though; just glad I don't have to drink it for ""medicinal"" purposes anymore. \r
