I came to Valentine Lakeside for local waterfront relaxation in mid October. The temperature was ideal, as expected-but I also found that and specific directions to the nearest golf courses and their rates along with playing tips from John Carroll, the owner. The spa and swimming pool were clean and kept at appropriate temperatures. The rooms and grounds were very well kept. Whenever I had a question not pertaining to golf or fishing,Susan, John's wife, responded with information in a gracious manner. Valentine exceeded my expectations and will receive me again in the near future.
