Of all the coffee shops in Baltimore, the Fells Point Grind has been my favorite for years. The one in Canton is neat, but Fells Point is the best. It may be worn, but what do you expect from a coffee shop in the historical section of the city? And as for the new owners letting it ""fall apart"" I just think you're over reacting. It's a historical building, it's never going to be new and shiny without hundreds of thousands of dollars being poured into it?. Coffee shops are supposed invoke inspiration, as fells point does. The one in Canton just seems like a great backdrop for a fifteen year old girl's myspace pictures. The Daily Grind in Fells point delivers me good coffee, good coveration and a place with character and history.
