New York Mint or The Washington Mint.\r

I have over the years purchased quite a few coins from these 2 companies. They are of the same entity.\r
They have told me that to purchase these coins it would be like getting a Mickey Mantle rookie baseball card. In reality, once you have pruchased a coin or coins as have. Even after a few years it is not worth what they have led you to believe it was or will be worth. To give you an example, I asked my sales person if I could not return some of the coins to them, since I could not find a buyer for them anywhere near what I had paid for them. He said yes, at the time I had bought them gold traded at about 600.00 an ounce. At the time I was calling them it was trading for about 1025.00 an ounce. I just wanted my money back, the saleman said that would be fine. After about 30 days I received a letter stating that they would take them back , but at a 25% re-stocking fee. This is after a 40% rise in the spot gold price. I would not do busines with either of these companies. It is not what it appears to be.
Cons: They are not easy to talk to or do anything but take your money.
