I cannot believe I'm seeing these comments about Dr. Thulin. I have been seeing her for 20+ years. She is matter of fact. She's very busy with a full practice, she needs to get get things done & move on to the next client. You may wait as everyone is different & some need more time than others. O yeah & she delivers babies, it doesn't run on a schedule, they come when they come & sometimes she may get held up with an emergency. I'd rather wait at an OV & know she'll make me priority when I'm having my baby. Long ago she lectured a deserving friend who was using abortion as a form of birth control. I wasn't there but I heard she expressed her concern & yeah as a Dr. I would think in the best interest of the client's health someone should be lecturing this stupidity. I had many problems as a result of an STD and my first creepy ob/gyn prescribed I do nothing about it and made me feel very uncomfortable. I was comfortable with Dr. Thulin and her staff which have all changed except Mrs. Gram over the years. They warm their speculums, put covers on the cold stirrups & ring a bell so you're not startled when her assistant comes in and your laying in stirrups. She pads the process, every time, reassures when needed & tells the truth. Some with STDs, frequent abortions and other issues due to irresponsibility after knowing the facts will probably get an ear full but they need it so they can take care of themselves. Don't expect to be told ""it's ok"" if you keep laying with Mr.X who hasn't been treated for the STD you have & it returns. Maybe these are the people that complain? As far misdiagnosis I have never been steered wrong by her. I'm sorry to hear someone had a bad experience. There are so many variables in health care Drs are not GOD. For a time I went in every 3 months, I never saw her yell at anyone, the place is clean & the staff friendly. I fret when her practice closes & I need to find a new Dr. She's the BEST in my book.
