We are used to another Mexican restaurant in our area. I guess when we decided to dine here (because we had a coupon) we expected what we were used to. To start, the Salsa was very bland. We had to ask for the ""white dip"" that our favorite Mexican eatery gives us. What a shock it was when we tasted this! Not too good! The chips had a cardboard consistancy and left a strange aftertaste in your mouth.\r
We did not order any alcohol this visit, so I can't comment on the Margaritas. I ordered a combo with Tamale, Chili Rellana, and Tostada, and my wife ordered one with Chili Rellana and a Burrito, with rice and beans. The Tamale was kind of bland but had a nice combo of beans and ground meat on top. The chili rellana looked like an open faced bell pepper with mushy meat and cheese inside. Not so good. The tostada was messy and hard to eat with way too much shredded lettuce.\r
My wife said that her meal was pretty much tasteless. We used to come here a few years ago, and it was much better. The staff was very friendly and the service was good. Too bad the food was below average.
