I started going to American Auto Repair in 1982, right after they first opened. I had been to a local tire company that told me I needed about $1,000 worth of work on my front end. I had just gone there for a tire balance. I was told by a friend to go see Jerry at American Auto Repair and so I gave him a call. I was in tears, he told me to bring the car down and he would check it out while I wait. He came in after looking over my vehicle and told me, he couldn't even find 50 cents worth of problems. He did not even charge me for the the check up. I have been using him every since that day. He has always been honest and reasonable. He always calls and tell me what I need done, so there's never any sticker shock. Everyone is friendly and I would recommend them to anyone who wants a good honest mechanic.
