Enid Sanders was investigated by the Board of Psychology and the Board ended up dismissing the matter. But that decision is meaningless because the Board dismisses most of the complaints they receive each year anyway. Approximately 2000 complaints were filed against psychologists and marriage and family therapists in 06/07 and out of those 2000 complaints, only 89 of them were worthy enough for the Boards to open up full investigations. And many of those were later dropped. How can so many ""clients"" or ""patients"" feel so wronged by their therapist and yet be so wrong? It's simple....\r \r The Psychology industry polices itself so it's not surprising they chose not to discipline Enid Sanders or the thousands of others. Make no mistake about it, Psychology and therapy in general is a business...BIG BUSINESS !! If the Board of Psychology and the Board of Behavioral Sciences start admitting their people are erroneous, they'll go out of business.\r \r As Margaret A. Hagen wrote: ""It is essential for the future health of American children and their families that all these professionals be forced to lay their cards on the table so that everyone, parents, prosecutors, and judges alike, can see what an empty deck they are delaing from."" more
