For our wedding anniversary, we decided to go to CattleTown (reviewed separately, suffice to say, don't go there). Our GPS led us to the Silver Saddle as an alternate and we had a bit of a chuckle as we pulled up. But we agreed to give it a chance. I'm glad we did! The food is very good and well-priced. Our waitress (if you're reading this, I apologize, I should have noted your name) was friendly and attentive. I agree that the mud pie seems wonderful. My wife ordered it, but I don't do desserts and it was way too much for one. We sliced it in two and sent half back to the kitchen for the staff to enjoy. I'd rather do that than let it get thrown away. In any event, we'll be back!
Pros: Friendly personal service
Cons: French onion soup a little salty
