I lost about 60 pounds 2 years ago by walking in the Breast Cancer 3-Day and dieting with Jenny Craig. I managed to keep the weight off, but I noticed that I was not ""in shape"". There's a big difference between losing weight and toning up. I was what some people call ""skinny fat"". I didn't weigh a lot anymore but my BMI was through the roof! My percentage was still in the obese category. I decided to do something about it and signed up for the Frisco Fit Summer Challenge at StaYoung. Now, I had NEVER lifted a weight before in my 36 years, so I was nervous to say the least. Marc became my trainer, I explained my history to him and he said ""We can work with anyone"". Well, he was right!!! He was exactly the right combination of motivation, support, and encouragement that I needed. Those first couple of weeks were super tough, but I started to see results. As I soon as I would get tired or bored with a series, he would change it up! My BMI started to drop and I could actually see toned muscles on my legs and arms! Wow!! The challenge is now long over, but I continue to see Marc 3 times a week. I couldn't be more happy with StaYoung and the results that I have achieved there. Marc, and the whole crew, are absolutely wonderful and I will be forever in their debt.
