Mediocre sushi, at best. 10/16/2008

I had a taste for sushi today so I decided to try Pacific Rim Kitchen. It's close to work and located at the end of a strip mall I frequent on my lunch hour. I was told, by co-workers, not to go there as there are other, tastier sushi places around (Kamehachi). Well, I should have listened; I got the Spicy Tuna Make and the Sake Make (salmon) and neither were worth eating. Maybe I'm a sushi 'snob,' which I've never thought I was before now, but the fish tasted like they got the leftover 'sushi-grade' fish at the market and waited days to serve it. Really! Now I just hope I don't become ill. The cost versus the quality just doesn't add up. Plus, the dining room was just barely feeding 10. Not a great sign for lunch. Stay away from Pacific Rim Kitchen if you are a lover of great sushi. Maybe try their thai food instead...if you dare... Pros: Ambiance Cons: Food more
