Kobe is good. If you've never been to a Japanese Steakhouse; what are you waiting for? The open floor plan here reduces the intimacy if you're looking for romance. I don't go to these places for romance, I go for food. Piles of rice, meat, and vegetables. I have left without a doggie bag but I was too stuffed to move. I like the white sauce. Not only do you get the best tasting food known to man, it gets prepared with lively entertainment right in front of you. My daughter prefers Kobe; my wife prefers Yokoso. I say, ""Make that onion volcano and bring my food."" I've never had to wait to be seated at Kobe...its sake time! Go there on your birthday and let them know its your birthday.
