We were referred to the Spot Gourmet to cater our wedding last weekend and they did not disappoint. We decided on a Cal-Spanish theme and the food was absolutely delicious. They began the cocktail hour with passed appetizers of herbed pork and beef meatballs in a chimichurri sauce, cumin spiced french fries served in a paper cone with a roasted tomato aioli, and shrimp fritters.I was apprehensive about how the fries would turn out, but, like the pros that they are, it was fried on ""the spot"" so it was completely fresh! Seriously, everyone at the cocktail hour was talking about the food. They then passed around small cups of crab bisque just before dinner that was velvety and rich. Can I say scrumptious?
