I just knew my transmission was completely gone when I made the call to Transmission Corp. of America. Pleased to find out they offerred to check it for FREE which included a FREE computer scan as well. My truck was giving me all kinds of trouble and every time I would come to a stop while driving the darn truck would shake and die.When I drove it it would jump and act funny when shifting gears.They did the FREE check and after that was done I was told all I needed was a small service and a new transmission filter with new fluid. They found a small leak at the gasket for the trans pan and the filter was stopped up. I had them do the transmission fluid and filter service as they suggest and guess what? It was a small cost to have the service completed and they did it in less than an hour. I was treated with the upmost respect and kindness by every single employee there. They were able to put my fears to rest, fix my truck quickly and get me back on the road in a safe driving vehicle. I was impressed to say the least. It is so nice to know there is still an automotive repair place in town with honest, trustworthy people working there. I thought honest repair shops were extinct. Transmission Corp. of America proved me wrong and I'm glad i didn't go anywhere else to have my truck checked and fixed. Who would have guessed it? I was already planning to spend money for a major repair and had even told the man at the counter i was ready to pay for a major repair and knew it would cost alot of money, but to my surprise he was honest about what needed to be done and even though their shop didn't make alot of money off the service they did for me he was still extremely nice and told me if I ever had any other questions or concerns with this truck , or any other vehicle for that matter, just bring it by and he'd gladly check any vehicle for me FREE of charge. The manager there said their policy is "no one should you have to pay just to find out what was wrong with a car." Pros: honest, saved me alot of money, very nice people more
