I have been using Strand Bros. for years to service my heating and cooling systems. Their advertising plays up the Strand family, but it's not just a marketing gimmick. Don't be surprised if the matriarch personally answers the phone (even though she is in her 80s). One of her "boys" came out today to perform an energy audit and pricing for a new system. There was no hard sell for all the bells and whistles and he spent time explaining all of the rebate and discount programs. I have used other companies for service a couple of times, but never felt they were as competent or fair as Strand.
