The customer service at Salon International has been declining as their prices have been rising. They seem to be more interested in high rankings for growth in salon trade magazines than in customer satisfaction. The salon owner, John, used to cut my hair. I had been a faithful customer there for 9 years when I had had enough. The day I told him I was getting married and would like to have my hair and my bridal party's hair done there (with nearly a year advance notice), he declined to do my hair for my wedding and told me I had horse hair!!! Not the way to keep customers coming back! I promptly took my business elsewhere.
