This little theater is the best undiscovered treasure on the south side. It's an old building, rather shabby surroundings, but we've never seen a movie there that we didn't think about and discuss afterwards. The popcorn is made fresh in an old movie popcorn maker, and the owner knows more about cinema than anyone we know. Give them a try!
Pros: Great films, great popcorn, easy to get to from downtown (right off the interstate), and an owner who knows film.
Cons: It's in a shabby little strip mall--don't let it scare you off, we've never been bothered in any way.
