It's pretty tough for me to stop in at Howe's and not order the Crawfish Etouffee, the Jambalaya being a distant second. The Etouffee is easily the best I've had anywhere including from the South. My #2 son has to have Voodoo Shrimp, #1 son, Cajun Catfish. Some consider the quarters a little tight but with red checked tablecloths, and dark wood paneling, it all adds up adds to a comfortable, friendly ambience and experience. The wait staff is efficient, yet never seem to be overly rushed or too busy to chat. The fresh cornbread is wonderful and plentiful, and there's a choice of about 8 or 10 different tasty down home sides with every meal. The food portions are generous, prices reasonable. This place is easily one of my local favorites, and one that I heartily recommend.
Pros: Comfortable and friendly.
Cons: Local parking can be a little annoying at times.
