The food was absolutely fantastic and the owner is hands on, which begs the question, why was everyone here inattentive to the point of thinking they are doing it intentionally. My waiter came to my table a total of 2 times. Once to take the order, and once to bring something. Thats it. No Is Your Food Fine. No Can I get something else for you. No Would you like me to refresh your drink. It wasn't at all that busy there, so when I see this level of inattentiveness I am inclined to think its intentional. I think I must have sat there for 20 minutes before the busboy, wondering why i'm not being attended to finally cleared the plates and I asked him for the bill. Ladies and Gentlemen, you dont go out to be insulted or not attended to. Quite the opposite. I'm not sure what these peoples beef was, but thats not how you treat a guest. The food was a 10 out of a 10. It was fabulous. But the service was a 0 out of a 10. You feel like you have gone in the middle of nowhere, where the people have gone home to milk the cow and left you there on your own. Really odd dining experience. I have advice for the managers here. If you aren't so big on service, do what Charlie Kabob does at the mall in Santa Monica - fast food. Fast food this was not. It took a really long time to bring the food and a really really loooonnngggg time to complete what was a horrible dining experience. Yes, you read correctly. The food was a 10. But the dining experience was horrible, because an absentee service. Thus, a 1Star rating out of 5. If you are not looking for negligence to the point of discourtesy steer elsewhere. To be a restaurateur means more than getting the food right. Just ask Zagat. Food: Service: Ambiance. There was hardly 15 people in the entire place, so I don't know what their problem was, that make it the worst Persian food experience in the country, because of lousy --- really lousy service. I wont be going back here, even though the food was fab.
Pros: Excellent food
Cons: I dont think they know the meaning of the word service.
