I had been using Pride Cleaners for years. Then, I went in for a simple wash and fold of some sheer curtains. There were lots of panels, so I expected to pay a little more that the usual dollar or two a pound. Simple enough right? Wrong. The day I dropped them off, the owner was there. He said it would cost 10 to 15 dollars, but when I came in to pick them up, there was a $350 price tag on them. The curtains cost less than a hundred dollars new. The owner and his wife both yelled at me over the telephone when I called. Their attitude was that the customer is always wrong.
