We usually eat in at lunch or early dinner when we practically have the restaurant to ourselves. We like the food and the servers are usually helpful. We have always gotten attitude from manager/host Jack and we simply try to ignore him, hoping his tenure at the restaurant will pass before our patience. This last time he was over the top rude and would not accommodate our party of 6. Never mind he had several empty tables, or that it was only 6pm or that we were trying to work out some solution. Emperor Jack did not want his authority questioned. Thank goodness there are about 3 Thai restaurants in a 3 block radius and we were greeted with exceptional kindness and superb service at Chaing Mai Thai!!
