This is a delightful, laid-back West Wash Park neighborhood hangout that's more than just a coffee shop. This space has undergone several changes of ownership, and the present incarnation keeps me coming back for more. Cafe Europa features a terrific menu with daily specials and sponsors innovative events like movie nights and holiday specials. I go there often, and the staff and owner are always friendly, courteous, and helpful and go above and beyond in service. That the previous reviewer felt poorly treated makes me wonder whether THEY weren't the ones with a chip on their shoulder. Nobody's perfect, but in my experience, the owner and staff are unfailingly respectful and welcoming. Cafe Europa and its staff are a great asset to our 'hood.
