This is a small, unpretentious Mexican restaurant with welcoming and prompt service. Though the kitchen does a creditable job with Mexican standards like enchildas, tacos, etc., the best dish on the menu in my opinion is the tangy-spicy guisado de res (""beef stew""). Tender beef and potato cubes cooked in a spicy sauce are the best I have ever had. Others I have dined with have had high praise for the tacos de lengua, although I am not myself a big ""tongue"" fan.
