We went to a movie at the Winter Park Village and decided to try Ruth'sChris. We made a reservation for 9:15. Movie ended early so when we arrived it was nice to see they had our table ready for us. I haven't been to Ruth's in over 9 years since they moved from Altamonte Springs. But my wife has been here for dinner meetings and likes it so here we were. We had crab cakes for an appetizer. They were good. The salads were standard caesar. Wife got the filet and shrimp and I got a T-bone. I forgot about the hot hot plates with the sizzling butter but you could hear the sound as the waiter walked up to the table. Both our steaks were cooked as we ordered them and were oh so good. We shared this chocolate concoction with ice cream that wasn't on the menu and it too was good. The room feels like a club. Dark woods but not a dark room if that makes any sense. We sat in a booth which I would recommend. Our waiter recognized my wife from some of the meetings so we got a lot of attention which I thought was very professional. My wife hates meetings but she never seems to miss the dinner meetings when they go to this restaurant. Now I know why.
Pros: It's good
Cons: We enjoyed it
