On the morning of a holiday (01JAN08), the staff slept in and did not have any breakfast for guests. Cold crossiants and coffee were later available, but can't even begin to compare to the excellent breakfasts I've had at bed and breakfasts within the states and also in France, Germany, Austria, and the UK.
The owner was unavailable to comment on the failure of the staff to prepare breakfast for several days. When finally contacted us back, she continually made excuses as to why breakfast was not served or was late. She was only willing to compensate $5 a couple for breakfast. You can't even get breakfast at McDonalds for that.
Rooms were not clean, drafty doors and broken windows panes.
Overall, increadibly disappointing. I would NOT reccommend this B&Bto anyone.
Cons: poor customer service, rude staff, dirty rooms, no breakfast served
