Got a tip alright! Not sure when JennChris dined at One but the service my party of 20 received was the worst ever! I made a reservation about one month ago for twenty guests to join in the cocktail lounge and for dinner. There was 1 bartender for the entire lounge on a Friday night. This gentleman had to cash out guests and make drinks! Once seated we waited 20 minutes until having to go to the hostess to inquire about who would be our server. A different young man took our drink orders, then our server took our meal orders. During the TWO HOUR!! YES, TWO HOUR!!! wait for our meals we were never offered more cocktails and we had to request if we were allowed the complimentary bread everyone else seemed to have on their table. Several of our party members never received their soup, or salads either before their entree' or just never at all! The manager was acting as server ,and with our complaints responded by telling us that they staff lighter in the Summer than Winter months (clear as mudd? this was a reservation made 30 days ago?) We were also told by the bar tender to "give them a break because there were over 100 people there that night" WHAT THE??...The server messed up our bills, those that ordered the restraunt of the week deal never got their dessert. The chef/owner never addressed our table but was reported as cooking the meals. I would suggest not going to One until Chef Kagy staffs the appropriate help. I have been a big fan and love supporting Mason/Local owned businesses as the whole party of 20 were "Masonites" but will never eat there again. Sadly for the Kagys word of mouth is big in Mason!!!
