There were 7 of us seated outside at two tables pulled together . We were quickly served with salsa and one small basket of chips (remember 2 tables?). The chips were hot and very good. The salsa was water-thin and tasty. The waiter took over 15 minutes to get our drink order and another 15 minutes to bring the drinks. When the food was served, we had to tell the waiter to bring silverware. The rice was undercooked and tough. The margaritas were served in a small wine glass and contained about 4 ounces - for $3.50. They were very good, however. Service throughout the evening was very poor. Perhaps it was because we were outside with the birds, fire ants, mosquitoes, and hundreds of flies. The outside tables are typical metal tables on a patio. The chairs are great for relaxing and leaning back, but not for eating from a table. Food was average to below average. The enchiladas were almost as good as the ones in the frozen TV dinners, but not quite. They were rolled in a tough tortilla and contained only tastless ground beef and covered in chili. Presentation of the food? None. The food was just put on the plate. Soft drinks run $1.65 but they do refill for free. I have eaten at many good Mexican restaurants, but this is not one of them. However, there was a long wait to be seated inside, so many people must like it. Try it and see for yourself, but for me, I won't be back.
Pros: Tasty margaritas, but the smallest I have ever been served anywhere. $3.50 each.
Cons: Extremely poor service. It may have been only our waiter or being outside.
