I was disturbed when I read the review that stated Alicia was ""rude"" and had ""the worst customer service possible"". I've been a patron of Alicia's family of businesses since I was in diapers, literally. Her Father had a small Mexican food restaurant in the same business area when I was young, Rudy's. Anyone who was raised in Brea knows what I'm talking about. He then moved it closer to one of the local high school's (which thankfully I went to), where he worked until well after I had graduated. The ABSOLUTE best bean and cheese burrito and hot sauce on earth!! Anyways, whenever I'm in Alicia's, I always think of Rudy. Their similiarities in work ethic, and commitment to the customer, are impeccable. The way their employees are treated (and you can tell because they've been their so long) should set the standard. The wonderful food is one thing, but the character of the owner and her dedication to her customers is amazing. Apparently the rude posting on 9/8/2007 isn't aware of all the good Alicia does for the community and all of the hours she puts in that make her a positive role model in society. I know many people that make this establishment the place to join with friends and family-it has become a weekly routine for many. I unfortunately live in La Habra, but work in Costa Mesa, so my visits are few, but I have to say, never have I ever received customer service that was questionable. In fact, the first time I took my boyfriend of 3 years there (which was this last Spring-don't know why I waited so long) Alicia took our order. When he made his selection, Alicia asked ""Honey, is this your first time here?"" He said yes. She then proceeded to make recommendations for a ""first timer"". He obliged, and still talks about what a great meal that was. Oh, I forgot to mention, even though it was a busy Saturday, Alicia came over to see how he liked it and to make sure we were okay. Now that's what I call Customer Service!!
Pros: Quick, tasty, and homey atmosphere
Cons: Not near my work
